Entheon Village's kitchen will serve food acquired from local organic farmers, use solar ovens, recovered waste heat, water heated via solar thermal radiation and will minimize waste everywhere possible. Entheon's primary kitchen is a vegan kitchen, and there will be a separate kitchen that will prepare animal protein for those who opt-in.
Entheon Village will minimize as much waste as possible. This is done by centralizing many of the village resources and requiring the villagers to participte in our kitchen.
All of us are to pack it in and pack it out. Entheon Village will have waste which will be separated and then distributed properly. We will recycle all that we collect to the Reno recycling depot. We strive to leave with litttle garbage at all. In fact we encourage all to leave with more than what they came in with - so before you leave, check in and see how you can help.
Water
Entheon Village will offer water to all village members in order to reduce the mass amounts of plastic required for each camper to bring their own, and reduce the amount of energy required to bring that water to the playa.
Recreational Vehicles (RVs) will be required to purchase energy from our power grid in lieu of operating their onboard petroleum diesel generators. RVs will also be required to buy into a coordinated contract for the servicing of black, grey and freshwater to maximize efficiency of RV servicing on-playa.
