The Gaia MAitreya Temple is Sacred Space that will be offered 24/7 to the Burning Man community with a multiplicity of opportunities for interaction and participation.  The Temple honors the Divine Feminine, the MA energy that births life and breathes creation. 

DNA Tree of Life

The structure will be con-joined domes, each 32' diameter and 15' high, joined in the center by an archway. A walkway leading from the Esplanade to the entrance, lined with solar lights for night and flags for day will bring Burners to a choice as the pathway splits taking the shape of a Y.  A flame burns within the Y reminding us that with the spark of determination we always have choice.  One branch of the Y leads to the Temple Creatrix-space that will hold performances, ceremonial rituals, workshops to expand consciousness, yoga classes, meditation, as well as offer space for massage, other types of healing, and personal yoga practice.  The other branch leads to the Temple Wombspace.  The entrance to the Womb is surrounded by luscious fabrics in deep red tones accented with gold, simulating the birth canal through which the participant is re~birthed into Goddess Beauty.  Within the Temple there will be a costumed Goddess, of either gender, holding space and available for healings at all times from noon on Monday through the morning after the Burning Man Temple Burn.  Inside the Womb are 7 altars embodying the energy of 7 different Goddesses from various cultures around the world.  In the center is the Goddess Tree in the shape of DNA, with a spider around the base that offers seats to those who flow through.  This center Tree of Life will be a vision for Goddesses of times to come.  A web will be woven around the top of the Tree, creating balance and security for the structure while offering a reminder that it is we who weave our lives.  As we shift from the Industrial Age into this New World we are co-creating, reconnecting to the energy of the Feminine Divine, to Mother Earth, is significant to find balance and the ability to synchronize our collective existence as One
