Art Miles Mural Project Print E-mail

Art Miles is a passionate and colorful ten year project combining the efforts of children and adults worldwide to promote global peace and harmony through mural art. Each hand and every mural aims to create and express a global voice to develop and advocate art rather than violence, cooperation instead of war, and the continuation of life through sustainable development and respect for Mother Earth.

Murals painted for the “Environmental Mile” by our brothers and sisters around the world will be featured at this year’s Burning Man Festival. The Environmental Mural is a pictorial journey depicting concerns about saving the planet for generations to come. It is 1 of 12 miles to be exhibited at the Art Miles “2010 Exhibit of the Century” in Egypt for the UNESCO Decade of Culture and Peace, and the United Nations Environment Program.

Please join us at Entheon Village for an exhibition and mural painting event to be livecasted to our simultaneous event in Cairo.? Murals painted at Burning Man will become part of the Environmental Mile, to be signed by each participant, and exhibited in 2010 at the Grand Pyramids of Giza.

This is a Call to the Tribes for representation in this butterfly-effect response to the rest of the world.
